Senior Designer

Design general branding assets and marketing materials to support the sales and marketing teams at ZipRecruiter.

WEB/DIGITAL

  • Present and collaborate with key stakeholders to create branded partnership campaigns which included paid media, landing pages, and email graphics.

  • Lead team in defining iconography styles across the brand to help maintain quality and consistency across all digital and print properties, while adhering to best practices.

Senior Designer

As the lead designer in the LA office, I managed the design efforts for Southern California clients while supporting projects from other teams. During my time at Blue State Digital I pushed the company-wide design team to develop unique creative, adopt the latest design trends, and collaborate efforts across multiple offices. 

I led a wide range of digital visual deliverables for Prostate Cancer Foundation, Entertainment Industry Foundation, Packers Everywhere, Universal and Google. This includes large-scale responsive websites, branding, campaign development, graphics supporting social media campaigns, animation story boards, rapid response/rebuttal designs, online advertising campaigns, design audits, and ideation of concepts for new business pitches.

  • Developed brand identity for a brand new community which includes robust brand guidelines, print swag kits, website, web advertising, and social media.

  • Art directed and created visual language during site build process—from kickoff meeting to research to the development of sitemap, wireframes and/or prototypes.

  • Collaborated with creative directors, strategists, UX designers, and web development teams throughout projects to ensure that the overall vision and plan for interactions and architecture are carried through into the live sites.

  • Art directed photoshoots and create guidelines for future shoots.

  • Facilitated conceptualization sessions to brainstorm upcoming visual direction for campaigns.

  • Presented on-going visual direction to clients for buy-in to campaigns.

  • Spearheaded the creation of front-end style guides to use across the company to aid in the quality assurance of the final developed site.

CLIENTS Slate.com, Palgrave Macmillan

WEB/DIGITAL  Brainstormed, created sitemaps, wireframes and HTML prototypes. I also implemented CSS/HTML with developers to develop responsive web applications, as well as created interactive pitch decks for creative direction and the sales teams.

Advertising & Promotions Designer

WEB/DIGITAL Created wireframes and developed micro-sites for seasonal campaigns. Designed and deployed e-mail marketing campaigns. Supervised job functions of creative services assistant. Produced online advertisements. Oversaw the domestic and UK jacket website upload process. Maintained the company website regularly through their content management system.

PRINT Led art direction for the initial concepts with the marketing team and designed final advertisements. Reserved and negotiated national print and web advertisements to promote trade, academic and reference books. Designed and managed the printing process of promotional pieces with contracted vendors. Managed yearly budget.
